The art of teaching and learning: Meet Dr. Scott Sowell

Veteran educator Dr. Scott Sowell will be the first to tell you that teaching is a challenging job. But after spending more than two decades in the classroom, the science teacher has learned that the key to his students' success lies in knowing the difference between teaching and learning.

We caught up with the former DCPS Teacher of the Year in his AP Environmental Science class at Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts.
